Broadband development and deployment continue to be a national initiative. In Indiana, with vast amounts of rural areas, broadband development was increasingly important. To help provide services to underserved and unserved areas, the State of Indiana continues to push the Next Level Connections Broadband Grant Program.
Providers across the state vie for funds to help serve their respective areas, and RJL Solutions had the opportunity to partner in the application development for a broadband provider in both Rounds 2 and 3 of the NLC Program. In total, with the help of RJL Solutions, 12 applications were submitted resulting in $11,506,830 in grant funding towards broadband expansion in West Central Indiana.
With these funds, more Hoosiers are now connected, and the digital divide continues to close.
